The Flower Stand – Our Story

Thirty years ago, Adam Bolton took over a small flower stand outside ‘The Old Queen Elm’ pub in Fulham Rd, Chelsea.

The stand – which, back then was just a few buckets of traditional flowers – has gone from strength to strength and secured a well earned place as one of the top floristry services in London, able to supply everything from simple stems to elegant and ornate bouquets with deliveries across London and the UK.

Adam has always been passionate about flowers and, from very early on, put himself at the cutting edge of floristry by sending his florists to Holland to acquire specialist techniques including the creation of beautiful hand ties. His became the first flower stand in London to offer this service; a demonstration of his ethos to never compromise on quality and always give great customer service.

Over the years, he has continually hired only the most skilled, creative florists and buys only the finest flowers from the Dutch auctions as well as sourcing directly from the very best flower producers around the world.
